The advances in travel reservations technology have allowed people to not only receive destionation information on-line but to be able to book their reservations in real time from a live inventory database. Reservation Services International has implemented an on-line booking engine that interfaces with both our client's web site and Reservations Services International's own reservation system. For resort and adventure/dive operators their existing web pages will continue to be hosted and maintained by their existing web master. The main web site still is the core for promoting the product. All information about the destination, resort and operation stays on the main site. We will only need your web master to design in one or more places on your web site a button that links to the booking engine. A secondary booking engine web site is desinged that outlines the product that you offer and the products you want available for on-line booking. Next to each product we have a book it now button that "links" to that product in our reservation system that includes both pricing and inventory. Some of the benefits are:
All of Reservation Services International clients own their own "800" numbers and therefore, retain the control and portability of their reservation lines. Reservation Services International maintains a customer contact relationship with a representative of the long distance carrier to help assure the continued high level of reliability that is important on everyone's "800" number. Reservation Services International has negotiated monthly marketing reports for each of its "800" number customers. These reports include analysis of calls by originating state; by length of call; by average length of call; by total calls per month. One way to help track the number of inquiries from a publication or specific ad is to secure and maintain several different toll-free numbers. We can help you do this and report the number of calls per month per toll-free number so that you can track the effectiveness of your advertising. We can assist you in securing a new toll-free number or numbers for your business if you do not already have one. If you have an existing toll-free number, we can assist you in redirecting that number to our office. Our current phone system is configured as follows: We have 3 T-1's for inbound and outbound call handling, an auto attendant to automatically answer the calls if an agent is not available, voice mail and an ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) system with reporting. Reservation Services International, Inc. is a fully licensed and bonded ARC agency and is a member of IATAN and ASTA. As a result, customers can be fully accommodated with airline reservations. Special "bulk air" contracts provide Reservation Services International with year round competitive airfares to the Caribbean and Central America as well as some parts of the Pacific. In essence, your resort now has the ability to offer air inclusive packages at very competitive prices. By being able to offer extremely cost competitive air transportation options to your customer, we can "close the sale" by being able to include the cost of getting there into the reservation quote. If you allow the customer to call someone else to book their air after you have closed them on your resort, they may choose an alternative resort or destination. Travelers today want to make phone call. They expect the company they call to be able to offer all of the components for a complete vacation; hotel, diving, as well as air transportation. Reservation Services International, Inc. is fully computerized with SABRE, an airline reservation system. We can now e-mail fight itineraries to your customers at the time of booking so that they can make a buying decision. Travel insurance is offered to all of your customers. SALES We offer an opportunity for our accounts to co-op with us the many consumer trade shows throughout the year. Instaead of exhibiting on your own with 100% of the expense, we give you the ability to have a presence at these shows in an exhibit manned by our trained sales staff. This co-op alliance allows our accounts' information to be distributed from the same booth. We attend and exhibit at these shows under the name of the RSI Marketing Group. The Consumer shows that we plan on attending are:
OUR MARKETING AND SALES REPORTS Our reservation program provides all the reports necessary to manage the reservation process. The reports are available by agency, by program, by vendor, by client or by reservation. We can also track reservation reports by agent, by dates, by arrival, balance due or deposit. Manifests and rooming lists are also available for dive boats as well as hotels. Most reports can be run either by date booked or by travel date. Many reports can also be selected to print in order of total sales, total passengers, by state or by zip. We have the capability to give you 24-hour/7 day a week access to your reservation data. You can see exactly what we see and run reports any time you'd like. You are able to print these reports locally on your own printer. If you find that the present index of reports does not provide a report for which you have a particula need, we can, for an additional charge, coordinate customized programming to produce any report that you may want. We have been involved for many years in the customization of reservations software and will continue to work towards providing the best marketing, financial and reservation reporting possible for our customers. A quick response is provided to all inquiries and requests for information. All fulfillment work is performed in the U.S. without the difficulties of international mail and phone systems. The faster a request for information is filled, the better is your chance for making that booking. When clients request property information either by phone or by letter, the information is entered into our computer system. We then mail to the client your brochure and information. Fulfillment services include but are not limited to the following:
We also provide travel documents for your customers (confirmation letters, prepaid vouchers, and booking policy information). If you want to do a direct response mailing, special mailing, trade show shipments, etc., we can provide this service for you at an additional charge. Reservation Services, International will collect all payments when due from clients. We will reconcile and forward these funds to the appropriate designated parites as you direct us. We can provide stateside credit card processing for our clients so that we can process customer's payments by either check. Mastercard, Visa or American Express. Travel Agent and Dive Shop Commissions will be racked and paid after the guest's travel is completed. NO CAPITAL INVESTMENT REQUIRED Our services solve the economic problems of establishing your own quality reservation office. By spreading the cost of the following items against the revenue base generated by multiple clients, we are able to provide reservation services at a cost savings to our clients:
In order to effectively develop a business relationship with Reservation Services International and promote your product we have outlined some requirements: Marketing a toll-free number is not magic. It requires a maketing plan that actively markets your operation by publishing your toll-free "800" number and e-mail address in all supplemental advertising and promotional materials. We ask that you commit to an annual advertising program and keep us abreast of all promotions and publications. We can help your "800" number ring through our full service marketing options. You maintain ownership of your "800" number. We will pay the bill monthly and bill you for our reimbursement. To print brochures, price lists, package information, stationary, envelopes, and have them available to quantities for us to use for fulfillment to your clients. Our Marketing divising can assist you in making sure that these are readily available. To provide airline transportation, accomodations, diving, and meals for your Reservation Services International Account Reservationist(s). We will send each reservationist to your operation for a personal visit. This way, when booking customers, they will be speaking from first-hand knowledge of your operation and what it has to offer. Periodic training trips for our existing reservations staff or new staff will insure that we continue to have the proper knowledge to sell your facility the same as you would. We ask that you participate in a dialog between us so that we can always be current with the heartbeat and direction of your resort or adventure/dive operation. Our experience is that our staff can make more sales for you as they become more closely part of your resort and family. Communication is the vital key that keeps the operations and marketing process running smoothly.
